ABOUT LAKMA

This theme runs throughout the work of the Los Angeles

Korean-American Musicians’ Association. (LAKMA)

LAKMA is a nonprofit organization of instrumental and vocal musicians from

diverse cultures and backgrounds throughout Southern California.

 

Through our performances, we bring traditional Korean music to new audiences along with

important classical symphonic and choral works. Keeping with our mission,

we provide financial support for children and the elderly and the sick and the poor,

and we support students with an interest to continue the tradition of our musical culture.
